I'm an amateur photographer, mostly into macro(nature) and portrait photography. I'm a proud owner of a Nikon D5000 which I purchased earlier this year(and my most expensive purchase till date). I maintain a humble array of lenses: 18-55mm VR Nikkor standard, 55-200mm VR Nikkor zoom/telephoto and my latest buy, an impressive Sigma 150mm Macro. It's then when you use the Sigma lens that you realize the beauty of smaller things in life.

Of late I realized that I'm a huge fan of Greenday and Punk Rock is a genre that I somehow religiously follow(I've been told that this mix of music and nature photography is something that isn't that common). I love designing vector graphics but lately I haven't been able to find time to play with Adobe Illustrator that I primarily use for that purpose.

Off to smaller things in life, I write code for a very well respected software firm and that forms my primary source of income.

Lastly, I usually embed a copyright into the JPEG so that it's not visible on the image and hence spoil it's actual beauty. Feel free to download stuff and use it. Just as a mark of courtesy, do mention the credits where ever you use it, it's not needed but encourages the artist to come up with more.

Finally, Cirrus is out. 5 months of painstaking efforts on making/editing/compiling time lapse footage come to a closure. It's my first collaboration with Ashesh Ambasta, a multi-talented music composer/photograher/artist.

Thank you for the comment, but no... it was a Cannon Powershot SD780 IS Digital Elph. Just a simple point and shoot, but the sky was so beautiful that night, I don't think you could have taken a bad picture of it! :)
